Missed Period, Had Unprotected Sex During Periods. How Can I Avoid Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 25 years old married lady. I had my last period on 9th oct. After my periods were just finished we had unprotected sex on 5th day of my periods. My menstural cycle is of 25 days i.e i generally get periods 4-5 days prior my earlier date, but till yet i havent got my periods so is the possiblity that i m pregnant and pls give solutions to avoid it, as me and my husband are not ready?

Pregnancy after unprotected intercourse can be avoided only if you take a step within 3 days of unprotected intercourse. It is done by using a progesterone containing tablet called I-PILL, unwanted-72 etc. which have to be taken within 72 hours(3days) of unprotected sex. The earlier it is taken the better the protection and if taken after 3 days, it doesnot ensure protection from getting pregnant.
If you have already missed your periods, i suggest you take up a urine test for pregnancy. Incase its positive, you need to see a gynecologist personally if you desire abortion.
