Missed Menstrual Cycle. Taking Regestrone For Irregular Periods. Negative Pregnancy Test. Causes For Delayed Periods?
Hi mam im 23 yrs old ... got married before 3 months ... I was having irregular periods and I had regestrone tablet before 2 month... last month got my period 1 week before my date... this month Im in 7 th day of my missed period .. took pregnancy test yesterday it was negative ... is there any chance for me to get pregnant... or it is an effect of that tablet ...
normal menstrual cycle lasts between 28- 35 days.since you mentioned you are taking regestrone tablet,i feel it is a side effect of that and not a pregnancy condition.
some of the other side effects include- -abnormal uterine bleeding such as irregular menstrual periods -bleeding or spotting between menstrual periods -amenorrhoea -sleepiness -raised B.P.
hence you need not worry for now.
however if the amenorrhoea lasts for another week,i would suggest you to get a ultrasound done and consult a OB/GYN for further treatment.
thank you, wishing you good health
