Miscarriage, Partial Molar Pregnancy, Wait 6 Months After D&c?

Hello .. I just had a misscarriage and did d&c in last week of january 2012 .. And had partial molar pregnancy last year 2011 1st d&c in jan and repeat d&c in feb 2011 .. Doctor says to wait for 6months, do i really have to?

Yes, you MUST wait for 6 months before planning a new pregnancy after treatment of molar pregnancy. This 6 months should be counted from the day, when your follow up BhCG were declared normal by the treating Dr, & you must check your BhCG levels regularly during this period as advised by your Dr. Otherwise follow up of molar pregnancy becomes impossible as this hormone will rise with a second pregnancy and you never know weather it is due to the previous molar pregnancy or ongoing new pregnancy.
