Migraines Before And After Cycle, Runny Nose Year Round. Symptoms Related?
I suffer from migraines which seem to be hormonal even though they can vary from the week before and after my cycle and a slight runny nose year round could it be connected somehow? I try to blow my nose but very little comes out. I do work in the medical field and hate to always carry a Kleenex as it seems so unsanitary but a constant drip is driving me crazy!
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
No they are not related. You need to take migraine prophylaxis with propranolol or divalproex. For your running nose it appears that it is an allergic rhinitis and you will need to take corticosteroid nasal spray in the mornings. With negligible sytemic absorption it will be a useful alternative.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
