Mensuration Like Cramps. Had Total Abdominal Hysterectomy, Had Ovaries Removed. Why Is Pain Getting Worse?

Good morning! I had a TAH, ovaries removed, on Sept 16. Was doing really good until earlier this week and then I started getting menstrual-like cramps, so I took it easier. Cramps are worse now, and I plan on calling my doc tomorrow. I don't think I over-did it, but I'm somewhat concerned - hoping I didn't pull any stitches or anything on the inside. Is it normal to have this almost 3 weeks post-op? I kind of thought if my uterus was gone, I shouldn't have cramping like this. Thanks, Debbie

Hello,
Thank you for the query. I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. Cramps after surgery is normal but if hey are more then you need to get examined by your treating doctor to prevent complications. I suggest you to take some painkiller like advil or tylenol for temporary relief. Thank you.
