Menopause, Going For Bio Identical Hormone Therapy. Lyme Disease Or Sexually Transmitted Disease?

I am a 50yearold female going thru menopause. Getting ready to go for bio identical hormone therapy. Bu the dr I seen for it started telling me that she thinks I have Lyme disease as well just by looking at a list of my symptoms. Then she said it can be sexually transmitted. That sounds far fetched to me. What is your opinion?

Hi...
Thanks for the query..
May I know what symptoms you have?
Menopausal symptoms are hot flushes, weakness and anxiety..
Similar symptoms may occur with lyme disease also...
Lyme disease is spread by the bite of a tick..It is not known to be trasmitted sexually..
You can get the evaluation done for confirmation..
When once the lyme disease is ruled out you can start with hormonal therapy for menopause..
Hope this information helps you..Take care..
