Mass On Ovary Burst, Abdominal Bleeding, Dizziness, Blurred Vision, Bleeding During Urination. Removed Fallopian Tubes. Why?
I had emergency surgery on tuesday night from a mass on my ovary bursting causing my abdomen to fill with blood. they ended up removing my right ovary, along with the fallopian tube. my h/h was 9/27 on discharge wednesday am. I was fine yesterday and most of today, but now I'm experiencing dizziness and blurred vision. I do pass bright red blood with clots during urination, but my pads are not soaked. I go through 5-10/day. when should I be concerned?
Better to consult gynecologist once and confirm that the bleeding is due to periods and not related to surgery. Then you can take tablets to control the bleeding. Once check for hemoglobin levels. If the blood level is too low you may need blood transfusion. In case of mild anemia parenteral or oral iron can be given.
