Lymph Nodes On Chest Inflamed And Distended. Diagnosed With Upper Respiratory Infection. Taking Axiron And Decadron. Side Effects?

I was recently diagnosed with and upper respiratory infection. It was, most-likely, viral. I asked the doc for a Decadron injection as I have had much quick acting relief from this in the past. He also scripted me for and anti-biotic but we both agreed presentment was probably viral. So, I did not take them. However, I am on Axiron 90 mg. qd. Two days after Decadron, the lymph nodes all over my chest because inflamed and distended. Could the combination of dexamethasone and the testosterone have caused this?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Since you know very well about these two medicines.
Concomitant use of these two drugs don't develops ,inflammation and enlargement of lymph nodes.
Testosterone and dexamethasone both causes retention of fluid in body and sodium retention, that is very dangerous for body , if uses for long time.
In my opinion , you should not use dexamethasone for upper respiratory tract infection.
Good luck.
