Lump On Tonsil, Sore Throat, Antibiotics, Cough. Infection?

I had a lump on my right tonsil thinking it was tonsilitis as I had a sore throat so I got some antibiotics. A week gone by and I start coughing really hard most of the time every day. I checked my mouth and realise other lumps appeared on my tonsil and tongue . Is it a really bad infection or what? I notice too that my right tonsil have this tiny white stuff that looks like puss but doesn t seem to go away.

These symptoms seems to be due to infection bacterial or fungal (because of white patch which you have seen). Throat have lot of lymphatic tissue which gets swollen during infection as a defence mechanism but if suelling is too much then it itself is a pathology.
You should consult a ENT doctor to find out what kind of infection is it by throat swab culture and physical examination
oral or IV antibiotics may be required in this case based on culture results and senstivity pattern.
\Hope this helps
