Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

The swelling might be caused by trauma or a spontaneous swellings arising below the skin.

If there is pain you can put ice pack.

For pain ibuprofen in prescribed dose is sufficient.

Physical examination is important to know the type and origin of the swelling.

Therefore I advice you to consult the doctor for examination.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
