Lump near the spine after a fall. No pain. How to get rid of it?

about a month and a half ago I was knocked back and fell on my lower back right on a step, It was sore for a couple days, but now I have a lump on the side of my spine that isn t painful but I can feel it when I sit down and it is a bit uncomfortable. It almost feels like a knot in a muscle but it wont go away from massage. What could this be?

Thanks for writing to us.
The knot you can feel near your spine is likely to be due to a soft tissue injury causing a hematoma formation in the area. Most of the times such small knot resolves on its own in 3-4 weeks without much treatment. You must avoid massaging the area to avoid further damage.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
