Lump Near Collar Bone, Moving, On The Same Side Of Taking Flu Shot. What Could Be This?

Hi, i had a flu shot on Tuesday and on Saturday afternoon i noticed a lump near my collarbone. it moves around a lot. it is on the same side i got the shot. it was a bit painful at first but now it is not paining at all. it just feels a bit soft and kinda slides on and off my collar bone. i am very worried. what could this be?

Hi,

This may be due to lymph node enlargement. This may be seen in few patients after flu shot. You may also develop mild fever, myalgia.
If the swelling does not disappear in couple of days or any severe reaction, chest pain, breathlesssness then need to consult your doctor. Till then no need to worry. Can take NSAID for pain or myalgia if develops.
