Lump In Armpit Extending Till The Elbows. What Could It Be?

I have a lump in my armpit. It is as wide as a pencil and starts in the middle of my armpit and extends all the way to my elbow . It s not as noticeable as it gets closer to my elbow but I can feel it if I rub my hand along it. I m scared to be honest. What can this be? I have had something similar before in another area of my body that I shave and it lasted for months upon months. I m wondering if this can be an ingrown hair that s infected?

It is difficult to accurately predict what it could be without an examination and investigations for which you should see a doctor. However it is unlikely that this could be because of an infected hair.
