Lump Between Thumb And Wrist Between Palm, No Instance Of Injury. What Could It Be?

I noticed a lump appear between my thumb buckle and my wrist half way between my palm and the back of my hand , it appeared overnight. I don t recall hitting it, it s not sore to touch and unless I look at it I don t know it s there. The lump is hard to touch and does not move. Could you suggest what this could be
