Lower Back Pain. History Of Scoliosis. X-ray Normal. Advise?

I've been having terrible pain in my lower (right side) back the past few months right above my butt on like hip plate? I don't know what it's called.. The bone slightly sticks out of my back it hurts to lay certain ways, sit down & put my legs up at the same time, and it even hurts to sneeze. Im an athlete and its makes it hard to bend and stretch well. Ive been to the trainer at my school and a chiropractor and he said it was because of my scoliosis but Ive had that all my life and its never caused me pain. I got xrays but it didn't show any fractures. I know somethings wrong with my back i can feel it, but no one can tell me WHY or how to help ittt??!

Welcome to HCM! Scoliosis is lateral angulation of spinal column; up to 12 degrees is acceptable.
The area you have been mentioning above your hip plate could be the sacro-iliac joint and the condition is known as SACROILIITIS which could be on one or both sides.
It has to be carefully diagnosed by a Rheumatologist to rule out Reactive/ Psoriatic Arthritis or even Ankylosing Spondylitis (“Bamboo Spine" in x-ray).
It could be even due to a systemic disease like Ulcerative Colitis (of colon or large intestines)/ Crohn's disease (affecting any part of the Gastro-Intestinal tract from mouth to anus, most commonly the Ileum or small intestine).
It could be due to Brucella infection.
