Hi,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic,
After going through the all available details, it is common to have low pulse rate in athletes due to parasympathetic stimulation.

Palpitations can be there due to various causes like ventricular premature beats or other kind of arrhythmia.

Your blood pressure and cholesterol is all right what treatment you are taking is not clear as you have not mentioned drugs.

You should visit a cardiologist and check for ECG and 2D Echocardiography to see everything is fine, we need to exclude valve defects, and cardiomyopathy.

if required Holter monitoring may be performed to find out exact type of arrhythmia.

Treatment depends on cause in the mean time avoid too much tea, coffee, alcohol or smoking.

Hope this information helps
Wish you good health.
Take care.
Good Luck.
