Light Brown Period With Cramps After Having Safe Sex. What Does It Mean?

I started my period November 1st. It ended the 8th. It was lighter than normal but only with mild cramping. On the night of the 11th I went to the toilet and had a pinkish blood streak when I wiped. The 12th I had brown spotting and now, on the night of the 20th, I am still spotting but extremely minimal. It did, however, go from brown to pinkish red on the 16th, 17th and the morning of the 18th. Now, November 20th, I am still spotting very minimally light brown. My husband and I had sex twice before my actual period started on the 1st (with a condom) and once in between period and spotting (also with a condom). I'm confused as to what is going on and can't get in to the dr for another 3 weeks. Please help me!!!

Hello,

First or all, you would undergo one home pregnancy test to exclude conception or early miscarriage.

Irregular spotting may be due to hormonal imbalance, stress, pelvic infection or cervical polyp. You need one TVS scan and hormone test to rule out underlying pelvic pathology (if any). Kindly, consult with your doctor regarding this and take suggestive measures.
