Light Brown Discharge, On Alesse Birth Control, Have Never Missed A Pill. Worrisome?

I am 21 female, on my second pack of alesse birth control . I have been using this kind of BC for about 1.5 months. I have three pink pills left until my period, however light brown blood came out. I do not know the reason for this. Me and my bf have been sexually active. I take the pills on time but here and there i take it late, but i never missed taking a pill. Should i be worried?

Hi, thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

Pink pills are basically iron supplements , bleeding can start any time during pink pills, which is normal not to worry. Oral pills if taken regularly are good effective mode of contraception.
Continue with next pack of pills once bleeding starts.

Regards
