Leukemia, In Remission, Having Maintenance Therapy. Can We Have Sex?
hello sir, i have a question about my wife my wife is 21 old and we are newly married. in June 21st 2012 she diagnosis with all leukemia . but she is now remission and maintenance therapy is going on from 10 November 2012. can leukemia will cured as chemotherapy response well. can we have have sex ? yes, leukemia can be cured on chemotherapy, but the response depends on the type of leukemia, as some kinds of leukemia respond better to chemotherapy. you have to be patient as the treatment continues for around 2 and half too three .
at present you should restrain from sex as she has just gone into remission. and any further stress can cause problems to your wife. furthermore, let the platelet count stabilize for few months than you can probably think of this only after consulting your treating doctor.
