Thank you , my question my left leg was broken 5 years ago and I had to get a cast a week.ten altogether., I made it out of wheel chair love dancing and walking. But I slowed down alot . These last few weeks my ankle and foot swells 3 times it size ,turns red and painful ..I been in coma before due to low sodium , Now it will be high one month , low the next . Tired of needles . One month told eat more pork , salt ,next no extra salt,.eat more fruit . Sorry , the question , what is gout , what can I do to control the sodium levels and stop the swelling and pain in my foot? What should I ask my Dr. Thank you for any advise you have.
