OKIE THINK ITS NOT A NERVE WHICH HAS BEEN EXPANDING IN YOUR CASE BCOZ OF ITS LONGSTANDING HISTORY

MORESO IF UR OCCUPATION ASKS U FOR PROLONGED STANDING

IT MUST BE A VEIN, A VEIN IN D LOWER LIMBS USUALLY SWELL UP AND DEY R BLUE IN COLOR, NON PUSATILE, NO PAIN WITH LOCAL CHANGES... MAY B ASSOCIATEDWITH ITCHING.

General & Family Physician Dr. Radhika Thyagaraju's  Response
hello,
what you are refring to goes more in favour of varicose veins.. I would advise you to get a doppler duplex scan of both the legs and consult a vascular surgeon with the same. If the pain increases or if you have a ulcer in the leg contact your emergency number. I hope i have answered your query. Take care
