Left Ear Infection, Rash On Ear. Hole In Ear Drum, Had Tube Placement.

My 6 year old daughter has a severe ear infection in her left ear. We were seen in urgent care yesterday after drainage and odor coming from ear increased. She also has a hole in that ear drum that never healed from tube placement at age 2.5. She received only one dose of oral meds as well as medicated ear drops yesterday around 4pm. Woke up today with a rash surrounding her ear and moving further inward on cheek????

hello danielle.your daughter is having a chronic infection of the ear,called chronic otitis media.she will need surgery to close the hole in the ear drum.see an ENT doctor.right now she is having an allergy to the ear drops.stop the ear drops immediately. dr praveen.
