Large Lump On Chin, Hard, Feels Like A Cyst, Recurring Condition. Causes For Symptoms?

I have this unusual big bump or lump on my chin . I had one similar to it a little further up a couple months ago. Its like it moved down. It feels kinda hard and kind of like a cyst . The last one come up twice but it went away. It hurts when touched and its not like a pimple it can t be popped. I can t figure out what it is.

Hello,

Thanks for the query.

You might have developed furuncle.

These are deep bacterial infections and hence you may not be able to pop them.

Treatment is with antibiotics.

You can apply a topical antibacterial cream like mupirocine.

Also do hot fomentation,

It will help in pointing of pus and will reduce pain.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
