Large Cystic Lesion In The Middle Of Pelvis,web Like Reflections Internally
i have a large cystic lesion in the pelvis that lies midline and measures 8 x 6 x 6cm approx a 4cm cyst on right ovary with internal web like reflections that appears to be connected to the large cyst in the midline of 10 x 5 x 8cm approx. no free fluid . what does this mean? could it be cancerous? what treatment is required and how soon will it be sorted?

you have not mension your age, if older age chances of epethelial carcinoma of ovary is common and in young age germcell tumor of ovary is common.
you should get done tumor markers : B-HcG, Alpha feto protein, S. CEA, S. LDH, S. CA-125 for detail evaluation of tumor in pelvis,.
raised CA-125 more than 35-40ng/dl is suggestive of ovarian cancer,.
also get done Color doppler ultrasould for cystic area: if its complex ovarian cyst than chances of ovarian cancer is high and for further evaluation require CT-Scan Abdomen and pelvis for characterize the malignancy feature and spread.
