Large Bruise At Back After Falling From Staircase. Severe Itching In Lower Extremities. Possible Reason?

I fell down a flight of steps(at least 15) 2 weeks ago. I had a large bruise on my left side from my that extended almost to my mid back. I had no blood in my urine and was sore a few days later but otherwise did not experience too many symptoms. I now have severe itching to both of my lower extremities. Should I be concerned?

Thanks for writing to us

From description it seems to be soft tissue injury . Large lump might be due to haematoma formation(collection of blood).
You need an x-ray to rule out any bony injury.
I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination. You may get the X-ray of the area affected under his/her guidance.Beside icing , you can take anti-inflammatory drug like motrin to reduce pain and inflammation. Avoid forward bending and rest well.Severe itching in lower limb cold be due to allergic reaction. Taking antihistamines will be helpful.
