Knee Pain, physio, MRI, Xray All Normal, On Crutches. Help?

Hi my 12 year old daughter started having knee pain about five months ago. We did the REST thing for a few weeks and then contacted the family doctor when things did not get better. once seeing him he looked at it and sent her physio. We have been doing this for three months with no help either. The physiotheripist sent in a request for a MRI but we got an Xray which showed nothing, then we took her to another doctor and got the MRI after she had fell due to the knee completely giving out. Just before the MRI she fell again because it gave out and ended in the ER. They could feel and see something is definitly wrong and placed her on crutches. MRI came back normal as well. We are at a lose because no one is able to give us any idea what is wrong. She is very much into sports and really wants to get back in to it. I have made another appointment to see the doctor but they said it would be a waste of time because nothing is wrong with her. Please help!

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Thanks for consulting
Few things to make clear
- What type of sport she played. Is any previous injury to start with paining
- If MRI is normal but she is having feeling of giving up while walking definitly some ligament injury is there.
- Go for Arthroscopy ( can be diagnostis and treating). because some times MRI misses something.
Till then Use Long Knee brace while walking ans sitting.
Use NSAID ( Tab Etodolac 400mg BD and Tab Phlogem 1 TDS( Trypsin, Rutoside, Bromellin)
