Knee Abrasion, Yellow Pus, Soreness, Pain. Cure For Condition?

what to do if an abrasion on my knee has got some yellowish pus . It s been a week since I fell on my knees while exercising on a trade mill. I washed it off in an hour or so and forgot about it. It was a little soar in a day or two and on the third day it started to hurt. It has got some moderate redness around and it is still somewhat painful.

Hi
> Pus anywhere need to be drained - for proper and quicker cure
> As the cause is known and as this is superficial, you may not need any tests
> A general surgeon is the proper person to see - he will assess the condition and give appropriate advice. You may need local antibiotic application / rarely systemic, if there is any cellulitis
Take care
Good luck
