Keratoconus In Eyes. Combination Of Soft, Hard Lenses Fitted. Left Eye Damaged By Diabetic Retinopathy. Advise?

I have Keratoconus in both eyes. My left eye was corrected in 1987 via a cornea transplant. Over the last year, I developed Hypertensive Retinopathy due to high blood pressure. My left eye was permanently damaged. Doctors do not want to do a corneal transplant in my right eye due to the damage done through hypertensive retinopathy damage done in my left. I am 57 years old and am attempting to get SSID benefits. THey fitted me with a combination soft/jhard lense in my right which helpf but is more of a band aid than a cure.

For your knowledge , the reason for diabetes is famial most of the times.so if u have diabeti father or mother or brother u have a chance to get diabetes. In additin to that familial inheritance if ur eating excessive calories with less exercise u can develop diabetes at an earlier age when compare to ur other family member who has diabetes.
But if u have no family history of diabetes an d drinking soda without sugar u should not get diabetes. Soda with sugar may adds calories and u can put wt. soda without sugar is not a risk factor for diabetes
