Joint Pain. Blood Test Shows High ESR. Reason? How To Reduce ESR Level?
Hi sir, This is XXXX. My wife has joint pains for the last 30 days. She is 33 years old. Yesterday, she went for blood test . Then we know that ESR is 50mm/hr. But we dont know the reason. I m very much worried about her. So pls tell me the reason and how to reduce ESR rate. Pls tell me sir as soon as possible. pls pls pls.......
Hi thanks for the query.
The value of ESR with 50. Is not to worry. The raised ESR is marker of inflammation in the body, there is no need to worry much if it is of that value. If there are persistent raise in levels repeatedly with long term joint pains she needs to be evaluated by rheumatologist.
