What Could Cause Sudden Extended Menstrual Bleeding For Over A Week?
I ve had my period for 10 days even though i usually only have it for 5-7. for the past couple of days ive been bleeding lightly but have not had any cramps/backaches like i normally do on my period. ive also had brownish discharge too. Im also on the pill and have been taking it regularly for over a year.

If you are taking progesterone containing pill, daily at same time of day, the extended bleeding you have is side effect of the pills. Please don't worry, continue taking pills. But if you had taken a break in pills, you should visit your doctor for specific advice.
