Itchy Throat, Stuffed Nose, Sickness. Why Chest Tightness Later With Bumps On Mouth? Worry?

I was away over the weekend and very suddenly came down with a itchy throat / laryngitis , stuffed up nose, headache and sickness . This progressed to chest tightness. This has now almost cleared in the main and for some reason I did think it was a reaction to something I had inhaled airbourne or the tap water I had drank as at least one other suffered similar symtoms. What I now have is a productive cough and painless small lumps on the roof of my mouth and behind my front teeth almost blister like. I had shingles about 3 years ago and just wondered if there is any connection. I am having an accupuncture treatment today so sure that will do the trick.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello I am Dr Ravinder Sharma ENT surgeon
On the basis of information provided it appears you are suffering form infection (possibly viral, may be bacterial).Possibly it started as acute upper respiratory tract infection and then progressed to involve chest.
I would advise you for X ray Chest, sputum examination and blood test and a ENT consultation. On the basis of the reports , you may further require biopsy form the bumps in the oral cavity for diagnosis.

I am not sure whether acupressure would work on it (as I am not a expert of this science). But I am sure this can be treated by modern medicine.
I hope this answers your concerns. Feel free to contact me if your need more information on this

With warm regards
Ravinder Sharma
