Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,
From the description you have given, it seems to be a case of seborrheic dermatitis. Use a good anti fungal and salicylic acid or coal tar based shampoo every alternate day to reduce dryness, flakiness and itching on scalp. You also need to use an anti fungal steroid cream on face and behind ears to treat these areas. If the lesions are too itchy, take oral antihistamine like cetirizine. I would also like to emphasise as dermatology is a visual field, it is always better to consult a dermatologist prior to starting any treatment. Hope that answers your query. Take care.
