Itchy Spots On Body. No Help From Triple Antibiotic Or Fungal Cream. Habit Of Trimming Hair On Body, Steam. Thoughts?
Age 55 Male, hairy Chest, work out daily, I've had 2 or 3 itchy spots that have appeared for a few months now that don't seem to go away...I wear cotton tees under my shirts and at times wear a somewhat tight under gear as well...Right now I am trying calamine lotion....triple antibiotic nor fungus cream have done much so this is another option I'm trying.....I do go to the Y and steam 5 -6 days and sometimes twice...and at times I do trim the hair down...any thoughts?

Hi i think ur description clearly indicates it is seborrhic dermatitis or tinea corporis.triple antibiotic decreases infecion at first and then increases the recurrences.hence stop it.use of atarax 25 mg at night.terbinafine 250 mg at morning and application of terbinafine ointment.if not subsided it can be milaria treat it with calamine lotion
