Itchy Painful Reddish Rash With White Spot On The Foot. Could This Be Bug Bite?

I got bit 2 days ago on my foot by something, but I didn t see what. I scratched the bites pretty roughly and not they are about the size of a quarter and they re a dark reddish color with a lighter white spot, presumably at the bite site. Is this normal? They re still pretty itchy and it hurts a bit when I bend my toes.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

You might have developed folliculitis.

These are deep bacterial infections.

Probably due to scratching bacteria got entry under skin.

Treatment is with antibiotics.

If there is pus the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
