Itchy, Painful Knots On Base Of Skull, Have Genital Herpes Virus. How To Get Cured?

I have knots on base of my skull. I also have some slight dandruff. My knots are itchy, but they are also painful. I have the genital herpes virus. Which I believe is hpv. I have lots of problems with swallowing food and ear, nose and throat problems. So Im just wondering if it is something that I want to seek immediate doctor visit or just by some dandruff shampoo?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Because of dandruff, you may likely to develop itching of scalp. Secondary to the itching and scratching you may likely to develop this sorts of knots or papules. Regular washing of hair with an appropriate dandruff control shampoo for a longer time will solve your problem.
It is not related to Genital Herpes. HPV lesions over scalp to be examined by a Dermatologist and get treated. Ear, nose, throat problems have no relation to Dandruff or Genital herpes.
