my daughter has large itchy marks (they look like bites) on her right hand and arm . She also has two on her face. She has been three times to the doctor this week to check for chicken pox (there is an outbreak at school and she has been immunised). The doctor has said that they are bites. each day there is a new itchy mark/bite. she was stung by a bee on the same hand about 3 weeks ago but had very little reaction at the time. I have looked through her bedding and clothes I don t see any bugs or spiders. We have a cat who does not have flees (her school thought it was that) but the marks are larger than I have ever seen as a flee bite. Over 1cm radius.

Itchy Marks On Limbs. Why? Is It Chicken Pox?
Hello, Thanks for the query, It cannot be chicken pox. Chicken pox spreads very rapidly throughout the body. she might have developed an allergic reaction. The cause can be varying, It can be due to an insect bite or any thing taken orally or inhaled. Ask her to Apply a steroid lotion like desonide. Also give her an antihistamine tablet. This will give her some relief. Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
