Itchy Bottom, Red, Sore, Swollen.

Hi my 5 year old boy went to bed last night complaining of at itchy bottom. I had a look and noticed what appeared to be a hive (similar to a stinging nettle rash ) it grew larger within minutes and the area around it looked red and sore. He settled to sleep and this morning, his bottom on one side was swollen. He still complained of itching all day today and his bottom near the anus and to one side of his anus is swollen.

The problem may be due to worm infestation or the other thing that I can figure out may be some infection around the anus. Kindly see your paediatrician. I think simple deworming should be sufficient.
