Itching On The Root Of Helix Of Ear. Is This Itching Nerve Related?

I experience intense itching (as if being tickled by hairs?) on the root of the helix of my ear. This happens many times a day. I make sure there are no errant hairs causing this. There is nothing there visually - no rash , redness, etc. - and therefore it almost seems as if it might be nerve related. Any ideas, please? Ron

Hello

The itching maybe due to an allergy or dandruff or a condition called seaborrhic dermatitis , this is a common condition and is easily treatable , please meet your dermatologist for confirming this and further treatment. Thanks
