Itching In The Ears, Blocked Ears, Frequent Cold And Swelling In The Throat. Suggestions?

I have had itchiness in both ears for a long time. Sometimes it feels like there is something inside my ears, and whenever I use cotton bud to clean or scratch , i get to put the cotton bud in the first time, but if i try again, the ear is blocked. And whenever water gets into the ears, I get a cold . and I have swelling in my throat that sometimes makes it difficult for me to breathe.

Hi,

Ear itching may be a sign of a bacterial or fungal infection, allergies, trauma, insect bites.
It is actually best not to put anything in the ear, even cotton buds because this aggravates and prolongs the problem. If you want to remove wax just place the cotton to the very outside of the ear, it is not to go any further because placing foreign objects into the ear introduces bacteria.

You should consider having a doctor assess the ears to check for infection, if present it can be treated. You can use antihistamines to treat any associated itching.

i hope this helps
