Hello ma'am.

Your symptoms are quite mild and could match those of a simple urinary tract infection or any other bacterial infection (as anti-fungal treatment does not seem to be effective in your case, which could be proof that your source of infection is different).

In my opinion no infection or symptom should be taken for granted. All patients should be tested in order to support the clinical suspicion.

In your case starting off with a simple urine analysis should provide more details on whether or not this is indeed a urinary tract infection (UTI) or not.

If the infection is confirmed, treatment will include antibiotic coverage and a urine alkalizer. If an infection is ruled out you might then have to undergo a vaginal swab test or of required even be screened for all sexually transmitted infections.

In the meantime, drink plenty of water and abstain from all forms of sexual contact, if you are sexually active.

Hope this helps.

Take care.
