What Causes Stabbing Pain In The Upper And Lower Jaw And Teeth?

It started in June with some pain in my lower right jaw that started out as mind and gradually progressed. In July I got into my dentist where they xrayed and determined that I needed three filings in three teeth. After these were done the dentist thought that perhaps if symptoms didn t improve that one tooth might require a root canal. After a couple of weeks the jaw pain became very intense and I returned to the dentist. I took a course of antibiotics as I was having sinus issues as well. Upon inspection it appeared as if the root canal would need to be done on a tooth other than the one the dentist had thought prior. I had the root canal done (extremely painful). (Oh, after the initial fillings, I started having pain in my top right bicuspid as well) The pain subsided for only a day or so and returned. I returned to the dentist where she adjusted the bite on the right side after taking xrays of both upper and lower spots. This was two days ago. This morning I woke with no jaw or tooth pain but as I drove into work I had stabbing pain in both upper and lower jaw/teeth. This has continued throughout the day (eating or drinking only slightly affected this). I have been having a slight cloudy discharge and heaviness in the right face and ear. Help, please!
