It has been a month since I had a mammogram, and a repeat mammogram on the right side. A few days after the mammogram, I started to feel a tingling sensation in my nipples, mostly on the right side and only occasionally on the left. After a week or 2 of the tingling sensations, my breasts are itchy , especially the nipple area. And again, mostly on the right side. Could this tingling, and now itching be from the radiation of the mammogram? Or something more serious? There is no change in the skin's appearance.

Hi my dr felt a small lump in one of my breast. I had noticed it a few months ago before my periods and then later. It appeard larger right before my cycles. Dr asked me to get a mamo and ultra sound. The radiologist asked me to follow up with a biopsy, since the lump was solid. As i ws leaving he said i should not worry as he beileves it is fibroadenoma and. He is ordering a biopsy just to be sure. I am waiting on my result but im very nervous. I am 34 with 2 kids 6 and 3. No family history. Can you please help me understand how accurate ultra and mammo results are

Hello - I was just called yesterday from my hospital and was told I needed to be re-checked after a mammogram was done last Friday, April 19th. I was told that changes have occurred since my last check over a year ago and that I had two focal areas of breast nodules that area size 12x5x5 mm; and another 10x3x3mm. Of course, I am concerned and no one will no if they are cancerous until I am re-checked...just wondering if that is a common size for fibroids or just fatty tissue. I am going back for pictures and an ultrasound.
