Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. Siddartha's Response
Hello,
Presence of pus cells in the urine microscopy suggests that there is an infection in the urinary tract. And culture report says proteus organisms isolated and is sensitive for streptomycin. And you have to take an antibiotic course. One more thing I want to tell you, please take plenty of fluids.
In the query, you didn't mention about symptoms what you had any burning micturition (means burning sensation while passing urine) or fever. My suggestion, please consult a physician for your symptoms and management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Siddartha
