Is Yamini Tablet Right Medication For Irregular Periods Due To Polycystic Ovarian Disease?
hi....i am 21 years old....i have irregular periods problem since 2 years....actually my problem is POLY CYSTIC OVARION DISEASE...my doctor prescribed me..YAMIMI TABLET .for 3 months 21days..but it is a contraceptive medicine....then is it right medicine for me?????
Contraceptives are often prescribed for women with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). They work very well to regulate periods, and also help treat other symptoms of PCOS such as abnormal hair growth, heavy periods, and more. As long as you are not trying to have a baby, they also provide the added benefit of preventing pregnancy. However, the main reason your doctor prescribed this medicine was to treat the PCOS.
If you decide later on that you want to have a baby, talk to your doctor about other options to treat PCOS. I hope this was helpful to you, and that you get relief of your symptoms soon.
