Is Weight Loss A Side Effect Of Norflox And Nutrolin-B?

sir, my brother having bloating abdomen, upper abdominal pain, stools 3times a day with constipation inbetween for past 13 days and pain on defecation. doctor gave norflox, metro, nutrolin B bt still he had pain inbetween. he reduced 50 kg in a year. any side effect?

Hi! Norfloxacin, metronidazole and nutrolin B given for a few days do not have a role in weight loss. Your brother needs to be investigated to ascertain the exact cause of his problem. Relevant tests to rule out diabetes, thyroid disorder, TB,
malabsorption etc. should be done. These are just the initial tests. Do meet your doctor for a comprehensive evaluation of your brother's health status.
