Hallow Dear, Let us consider your two issues one by one. You had unprotected sex; however you have not mentioned on which day of the cycle. Still you have consumed Nordette pills after the intercourse. These pills are Levonorgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol tablets. They are regular birth control pills. For post coital contraception, there are different pills available which have to be consumed within 72 hours of the unprotected sex. However, if regular contraceptive pills are taken in double the dose, they also can act as post coital contraceptive. You have taken much higher dose than that, so you will be protected against the pregnancy. Since you have taken 8 times the dose within 24 hours, there are hardly any chances of pregnancy due to this intercourse. Secondly regarding your symptoms like nausea, vomiting, dizziness, etc. This is all due to excessive dose of Nordette. These many pills have raised your stomach acidity which is causing all these symptoms. Even severe acidity may cause breathlessness also. Please start Tab. Pantoprazole twice a day on empty stomach and also support it by Tums or Gelucil tablets. You will be relieved of the symptoms within few days. With this much dose of Nordette, you may experience some withdrawal bleeding after few days. You need not be concerned about it. Even your menses may be delayed by about a week due to Nordette. If you do not get menses even after 8 days of missed period, then you may test your overnight first morning urine for pregnancy.
