Is Vaginal Spotting A Sign Of Pregnancy?

Its being 5 years m married but from last 2 months we trying for a baby, my period is very regular last month I had it on 4th August, and from yesterday I am seeing small particle of blood tissues are coming but still no flow, so its my inquisitiveness that is there any possibilities that m pregnant and its a false period. : )

Thank you for asking at HCM.
I carefully read your question and understand your concern.
I totally agree with you. Some spotting after a late period can be a pregnancy and we need to confirm it by a pregnancy test. Another possibility is a late period. So I would recommend you:
1. do a pregnancy test
2. start folic acid as soon as possible if you are trying to get pregnant- this will help prevent some of problems with the baby and should be started right when we plan to have a pregnancy till we are 13 weeks pregnant.
3. If pregnancy test is negative repeat it every 3 days till you get a period or it comes out positive.
4. If the test is positive and you still have spotting this might be normal for pregnancy but you still will need a visit with a doctor and probably a vaginal ultrasound to determine that the pregnancy is in the uterus
5. the last recommendation is RELAX: stress reduces the chance for ovulation and conception so you have higher chances of getting pregnant if you relax
