Is Vaginal Bleeding Normal Post Insertion Of Canesten Tablet?

Hi, i think I got what was my first yeast infection, so I went to the drugstore and bought a canesten combi pack with the 3 tablets and cream. After inserting the first tablet yesterday afternoon, I woke up this morning to bright pink blood on my pad. The chunky discharge is pretty much gonez now I am on my second tablet. Is the bleeding normal?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Bleeding can occur as a result of irritation of the vaginal surface as a result of the infection.

If this is the case then the bleeding would resolve with the infection as it is treated.
You would need to complete the course even if symptoms are improving.

If there is not complete resolution, then you may need to see your doctor for an alternative.

I hope this helps
