Is Uterus Removal Necessary When It Is Bulky With Fibroids?

hello i am 33 years old, No Child & Not Living. my scan report BULKY UTERUS WITH FIBROIDS. Measurement of reports: UTERUS : Anteverted uterus measures 8.63x5.03 cms Endometrium measures 7.1 mm. A Posterior sub mucous fibroid of 3.66x2.33cm seen. An anterior sub fibroid of 2.9x2.48cm seen. OVARIES: Afollicular cyst of 33x25mm seen in Right Ovary Left ovary measures-2.5x1.54cm My doctor suggested remove uterus. any other option.

Hello,

If fibroid asymptomatic then no need for any urgent treatment. But your uterus bulky and multiple fibroid presents, hence uterus needs to be removed. If you are totally asymptomatic, then you can wait. So provide your clinical complaint about giving more comment. For Symptomatic multiple fibroid hysterectomy operations done. Consult a gynecologist for examination and discuss your case.
