Is Using Ciprodex Safe For An Ear Infection?

I have an ear infection and was given ciprodex to cure it. Since I have a perforated ear drum, is it safe to use this medication ? I\ve applied 3 applications - 2 yesterday - 1 this morning and now my inner ear seems to be more swollen and sensitive. Is this normal?

Thanks for posting your query to hcm .As I understand you are using antibiotic locally in ear. there is no harm of using antibacterial ear drop as these are prepared to cure infection . But You should use antibiotic after culture and sensitivity examination of your ear discharge , so that agent causing infection and effective drug to cure organism can be known.
hope it will help .
